At Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink, Demolition Plus had a clear requirement from builder DSD Group: complete the demolition works while protecting the existing slab beneath.

Protecta Board XTRA was used across the slab throughout the project, handling heavy site activity and exposure to the elements.

As Demolition Plus Site Foreman Steve N put it:

“Protecta is such a great product. It’s why we use it all the time. It’s reliable, and it helps us know that we can trust it to protect when we need it to.”

The slab was handed back protected and ready for the next stage.

Yesterday, our entire national team came together in Sydney to celebrate a pretty special milestone: two decades of Protecta.

For one afternoon, everyone stepped away from the day-to-day, got off site and came together to celebrate the people, moments and journey that have shaped Protecta since 2006.

And what better way to mark 20 years than cruising Sydney Harbour with the whole team?

A huge milestone, an incredible day and plenty worth celebrating.
