We are proud to advise that one of AIMS past sponsoship recipients, studying Mine Surveying at Curtin University, has taken out DUX of the Bachelor of Mine and Engineering Surverying Program.

It just so happens that AIMS also sponsor this award..... known as the Dr Andrew Jarosz Award.... Congratulations go to Blake Botica for this outstanding achievment.

Big shout out of appreciation for our sponsor/presentors Maptek, Element Geospatial, UPG and CRKennedy for their attendance and support at our Regional AIMS seminar in Kalgoorlie. Thanks also to the WASM crew for arranging the presentation room and social club for networking. Without the hard work and "out of office hours" time from all these people, regional events just wouldn't get of the ground. We had great attendance from students and local mine surveyors, and it was good to see such diversity amongst the attendees.
