SCJ Power Pty Ltd is a leading Level 1 & 2 Accredited Service Provider contractor. We are seeking a labourer/offsider to join our growing team. This is a full time, permanent role for an experienced offsider. It is largely a physical role that involves working with mobile plant and equipment. A truck licence is required. Work involves shift work and weekends with opportunity for overtime.

Ideally the candidate would have experience working in the Electricity Distribution Industry. However, if this is not the case all relevant training will be provided.

The depot is located in Smeaton Grange, site work is in different locations across Sydney and NSW.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Assist the team directly with all aspects of overhead power line construction work
- Assist loading power poles onto crane
- Preparing trucks by organising equipment/materials needed for that days work
- Assist the team with plant, vehicle and equipment maintenance and services
- Assist in street light maintenance and construction
- Yard maintenance
- Other duties as directed

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- A valid NSW Drivers Licence
- NSW Heavy Vehicle Licence and driving experience (Minimum MR Classification)
- NSW WHS General Construction Induction (White Card)
- Punctuality and attention to detail
- Positive and proactive approach to safety

DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- High Risk Work Licence to undertake
- Do***ng (will be a great advantage)
- Crane Borer Operator (will be a great advantage)
- NSW Heavy Vehicle Licence and driving experience (HC/HR Classification)
- Industry experience working within Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy networks and completed Initial Safety Rules Training with the operators
- Willingness to work overtime if required
