We are currently recruiting for an experienced Foreman/Supervisor to work out of our Craigieburn offices. As the Foreman/ Supervisor you will take ownership of the site and work closely with field staff and engineers to ensure the smooth running of all projects.
Applicants will have experience in the supervision of plant, labor, and subcontractors for pavement work with a proven track record in the delivery of subcontract civil construction projects in accordance with specifications, financial and reporting requirements. You'll work within a highly motivated team environment with opportunities to develop your skills and your career within our organisation.
Key Areas of Responsibility include:
Assistance with quotation and tender activities
Project preparation and planning
Management of resources and materials in consultation with Operations Manager
Ensuring works are carried out in an efficient manner that meets quality requirements
Daily and weekly reporting
Client and stakeholder communication
Willingness to travel and work away as required
A demonstrated knowledge and application of OH&S and environmental legislation is essential along with a genuine commitment to a safe and productive work environment.
Essential Criteria:
Min. 5 years’ experience as a foreman/ supervisor
Knowledge of spray seal and asphalt works
Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
Computer literacy with preferred proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project, along with standard written communication
