Progress really coming along on this home extension project in Somerville, you can see the extra living space has really taken shape. Plaster has just been done, now it’s onto the interior finishes.

We're making progress on this home extension project in Somerville, where we're adding 110m2 of living space. By relocating the kitchen and main living area to capture the northern aspect, the homeowners will benefit from plenty of natural light and warmth. The new layout also features a large ensuite and walk-in robe, as well as a kids' rumpus room and extra living area, providing ample space for the family to relax and spend time together.

Q & J Constructions recently completed the design, build, and installation of permanent rental cabins at Ingenia Communities in Frankston and Carrum Downs. Despite the challenges of working in confined spaces, our team delivered 15 high-quality cabins with precision and expertise. Thanks to off-site construction and crane installation, we were able to reduce noise, traffic, and minimise disruptions for residents. The result was beautiful, affordable accommodation that’s built with the same quality and attention to detail that Q & J are known for.

We're proud to have helped Moama Riverside Holiday Park rebuild and expand their accommodation offerings after previous flood damage. Our team designed and built 6 new cabins, raised to current flood levels to future-proof against flooding. This was a critical consideration for the park, given its history of flood events.

But what really made this project stand out was our ability to minimise disruption to the park's daily operations. We built the cabins off-site in our factory, and then transported them to the park for installation using a crane. This approach not only reduced noise and traffic on site, but also ensured that the park could continue to welcome guests with minimal disturbance. The result? Comfortable and secure lodgings for holidaymakers, and a successful partnership with the park.
