PROJECT COMPLETION| Peter Lalor Secondary College

CICG recently completed Peter Lalor Secondary College Stage 1. The project involved the construction of a new single level learning centre with additional outdoor learning areas.
The new building provides a modern vocational school, specialising in applied learning focused on preparing students for the world of work (apprenticeships, traineeships, and general employment) or further TAFE training. CICG is delighted to have once again collaborated with to deliver another successful VSBA project.

NEW PROJECT| Thomas Carr College

CICG is delighted to announce our appointment as head contractor for the new Senior School at Thomas Carr College Tarneit.
The new 2-level building will house the senior students in 21 general purpose learning classrooms, as well as a careers hub, senior student study venue and a state-of-the-art STEM centre.
We look forward to breaking ground early August!

NEW PROJECT | Marymede Catholic College Stage 2 – Junior Learning A

We are closing out 2022 with a bang! CICG has been appointed Head Contractor for Marymede Catholic College Stage 2.

Located at their new Doreen Campus, the project involves construction of a new Junior Learning building, a full-size artificial grass soccer pitch, access road and carpark. The new 3-level building will provide campus reception, digital technology, food technology, media & visual arts, product design and STEM facilities. Opening in 2024 for Year 7, this project is hugely important for and will provide an excellent platform to launch future stages at the new Doreen Campus.

NEW PROJECT | Donvale Christian College Senior Secondary School

We are thrilled to have recently been awarded the new Donvale Christian College Senior Secondary School building.

This impressive building will be clustered amongst existing school buildings, including the new community hub which was completed by CICG in 2021. Constructed over 5-levels, the building will include a Resource Centre, LOTE Zone, Humanities level, STEM level and Food Technology level, as well as a roof terrace. The project also seeks to achieve a 5-star Green Star rating through the use of highly efficient mechanical services, accredited green materials, incorporating indigenous consultation, environmental controls during construction, and having a fully electric building, amongst other items.

We are excited to be collaborating once again with and .architects.australia to continue the redevelopment of the school campus.

NEW PROJECT | Truganina Community Centre.

CICG is delighted to announce our appointment as head contractor on the new Truganina Community Centre (interim name). Coming off the back of our recent completion of the Truganina SE & Tarneit N Masterplan, we have once again been engaged by to deliver this exciting project.

The new community centre will provide access to a wide range of children, family and community services in a safe, welcoming, and sustainable facility. The centre includes 3 and 4 year-old kindergarten, Maternal and Child Health and Allied Health Services, Youth Services programs and activities, community events, programs & activities, library collection, lounge and quiet space, community meeting spaces and outdoor gathering spaces. This facility has been expertly designed by and will be constructed sustainably to be carbon neutral in operation and all-electric, targeting a 5-star Green Star rating.

NEW PROJECT | CICG has recently been awarded the new Glen Waverley Sports Hub. The project will provide a new home for the Glenvale Tennis Club as well as updated facilities for the Glen Waverley Golf Club. Once completed, the hub will include a new a two-storey golf and tennis pavilion, 18 new tennis courts including two show courts with undercover spectator seating, a new golf practice green and hitting cages as well as a large car park and pedestrian paths.
The existing Glen Waverley Golf Course will remain operation throughout, with key emphasis on maintaining operations as well as a sensitive approach during construction to ensure minimal impact on the existing public park and recreation area.
We look forward to working with to provide a facility which will add another dimension to this already well-known sporting precinct.

PROJECT UPDATE | Some fantastic shots of the progress at Truganina SE Masterplan. With the Integrated Family Centre already in operation, we are closing in on completion of the sports pavilion, soccer pitches, tennis courts and oval. Check back in to see the finished product soon!

PROJECT COMPLETION | Donvale Christian College Community Hub
CICG took on the challenge of constructing this unique building on one of the more difficult sites we have encountered, cut into a steep site in which the building traverses a level difference of 15m at a 1:3 slope! The new Community Hub is constructed over four levels comprising lower basement archive storage, lower ground multipurpose hall providing sports and performing arts facilities with seating for 765 people, intermediate mezzanine level providing gym and teaching areas and an upper level featuring a competition standard double court with a commercial kiosk, changerooms and general amenities.
Everyone involved in this project embraced its intricacy and the results speak for themselves.

NEW PROJECT | The roll continues with CICG being recently awarded the upgrade and modernisation of South Oakleigh Secondary College. Designed by the upgrade will include a major redevelopment of the existing gymnasium and construction of a new science block. The new buildings are the first step in the school’s masterplan and provide hidden, curious moments, embedded in both the landscape, and the interior, that reward curious students with tributes to physics, chemistry and biology, alongside Indigenous concepts of astronomy, climate and agriculture.
