Jirgens Civil is a diversified civil construction company situated in Nowra on the South Coast of NSW. Jirgens Civil is a family run, locally owned business which employees local staff and utilises local suppliers and sub-contractors. Being a medium sized civil construction company, we are happy to undertake a range of civil works from small driveway construction to large commercial developments.

We also undertake a range of specialised work including asphalting, road construction & repair, car-parks, drainage, concreting, line-marking, demolition, asbestos removal & disposal, fencing, plumbing, retaining wall construction & repair, commercial and domestic building maintenance, landscaping work, project management and environmental projects.

Jirgens Civil is seeking experienced Civil Labourers to join our growing team.

We are looking for applicants with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the civil construction industry who are motivated, reliable, and take pride in delivering quality work.

Requirements:
✅ Minimum 3 years civil construction experience
✅ White Card essential
✅ Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
✅ MR/HR licence and machinery tickets advantageous

💧 Woodstock Road Water Main Upgrade – Jirgens Civil 💧

Jirgens Civil is proud to be delivering the Woodstock Road Water Main Upgrade for Shoalhaven Water, strengthening essential infrastructure for the local community.

Our crew has been busy trenching, laying new HDPE water main, completing electrofusion welds, and installing valves and connections — all while maintaining traffic flow and ensuring safety for road users and residents.

This important upgrade will improve reliability, capacity and long-term performance of the water network along Woodstock Road, ensuring continued service for the growing community.

Wet Monday = perfect timing for a team safety meeting 👌

With a few sites washed out due to the weather, we made the most of the day by bringing the crew together to run through safety, procedures, and a good old toolbox chat.

Nothing like a bit of rain to slow things down and give us the chance to refocus on what matters most — looking after our people and doing the job right.

Full house again at Jirgens Civil HQ. All the machines have been put to bed, the milk & cookies are out and excitement is high for Santa and his reindeer.
