☀️ NEW RHEEM SOLAR HOT WATER SYSTEM INSTALLED ☀️

A great result for this customer following the installation of their new Rheem Australia Rooftop Solar Hot Water System.

This job required a little extra coordination, with our team first removing the existing solar system so the roofers could complete their work. Once the new roof was ready, we returned to:

🔧 Install new deck kits and roof penetrations
☀️ Install the new Rheem rooftop solar system
💧 Reconnect the pipework within the roof
⚡ Check the electric backup
✅ Test and commission the complete system

The new system is now fully operational — and we were especially pleased to receive this lovely feedback from our customer afterwards:

☀️ SOLAR HOT WATER LEAK? DON’T WAIT UNTIL IT GETS WORSE!💧

We were recently called out to a home where a roof-mounted Solahart solar hot water system was leaking so badly the customer had to turn their water off completely.

🔧 On inspection, we found a leak coming from the centre connector. We replaced the O-ring and got the water back on, only to uncover a second internal leak in one of the solar collector panels.

While we were able to significantly reduce the leak and get the customer’s water back on, the panel has reached the point where replacement was now required. We replaced the old system with a brand spanking new Rheem Australia roof mounted soalr hot water system.

This is a great reminder that leaks in solar hot water systems can quickly become a much bigger problem — especially when they’re up on the roof and out of sight.
