Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated 1st Year Apprentice Bricklayer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in the masonry field and learn the trade from experienced professionals. As an apprentice, you will receive hands-on training and develop skills in bricklaying, block laying, and stonework. You’ll work alongside skilled masons and have the chance to contribute to a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist experienced bricklayers with tasks including brick, block, and stone laying

Mix mortar, cut bricks, and lay materials with accuracy and care

Follow safety protocols on all job sites

Maintain clean work areas and assist with general labor as needed

Eagerly learn and develop new skills under the guidance of seasoned professionals

Requirements:

Construction safety white card

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Interest in building a career in masonry

Physically able to perform demanding tasks in outdoor environments

Reliable and punctual with excellent teamwork skills

First house done in the beautiful South West Rocks! 🧱 The team continues to have quality results 🧱

The West Rock team had another productive week. We successfully rebuilt a retaining wall, including installing a new foundation. We then scaled and cleaned an existing 9" curved brick retaining wall, applying one coat of waterproofing in a north-south direction and a second coat in an east-west direction using Hydro Ban Slurry from . We have 120m² of stone cladding ready to begin next Tuesday.
