Your skills and qualifications include (but aren't limited to):
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Queensland Electrical Licence
• Driver's license (Provisional as a minimum)
• Minimum two years experience as a qualified electrician
• Positive attitude & willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge
• Strong verbal & written communication & interpersonal skills
• Experience using job management software
• Diligence in safe work practices
• Strong time-management skills
• Full working in Australia rights
It would be awesome if you also had these:
• Experience with commercial electrical installations, repair, & maintenance or a keen interest to learn.
• Previous experience in composing quotes for submission to clients.
• Prior supervision of apprentices or other workers.
About the Role:
The position is a permanent full-time role (occasional overtime) for commercial & residential electrical installations, repairs & maintenance, and quality communications installation & servicing.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Test for, locate & repair electrical faults
• Installation of electrical systems, equipment, & appliances
• Preventative maintenance & testing
• Work both independently & as part of a team
• Adhere to all relevant policies & procedures
