One of our Environmental Scientists, Camilo, is in the field undertaking detailed tree surveys combining the use of the Bad Elf Flex and GPS mapping.

He is carefully assessing each tree for accurate positioning and to identify its species, height and trunk circumference.🌳😎

We have plenty of knowledge and experience across Burchills, and our Munch & Learn sessions are a chance for our team to share what they know with everyone else.

Everyone is welcome to jump on, and we always get a good turnout. We also record every session so people can catch up later if they cannot make it on the day.

Our latest session looked at how structural engineering software can be used to model, analyse and design reinforced concrete structures.💻

It is a great way to share skills across our teams and learn a few things from each other along the way.

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded South Comongin Crossing of the Bulloo River on the Quilpie – Thargomindah Road project by Department of Transport and Main Roads – South West District (TMR SW).

This important project will improve flood resilience and connectivity along the Quilpie–Thargomindah Road, delivering long-term benefits for regional communities, industry and freight movements in South West Queensland.

Thanks to the TMR SW team for the opportunity. We are looking forward to getting started and delivering a strong outcome together with our project partners FSG Geotechnics + Foundations, Bellwether Group and Fyfe.

💙 Jeans for Genes Day 💙
Our Brisbane, Toowoomba and Gold Coast offices came together for Jeans for Genes Day! 👖🧬We’ve raised over $1,000, and the total is still climbing with Burchills matching our teams donations! Everyone wore their favourite denim and enjoyed some yummy food while supporting an amazing cause! 😊

Our team recently came together for the Burchills Games Night, an evening of game show-inspired challenges, questionable answers and two hosts who looked like they’d been pulled straight from the cringiest game shows of decades past.

Teams were mixed across our offices, giving everyone a chance to step away from the day-to-day, catch up with different people and discover which colleagues become slightly too competitive when prizes are involved.

And because a games night clearly wasn’t enough, the dress theme was “Nowhere to Wear It”, the perfect excuse to finally wear that outfit that’s been sitting in the wardrobe waiting for an occasion that was probably never going to come.

There were games. There were prizes and there were some bold outfit decisions. Honestly just another very normal night at Burchills. 🎤🏆

We are proud to share that our Infrastructure Team has been awarded the Paroo River Bridge Replacement at Eulo project with the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) South West District.
