Bridging the gap…. literally! 🚧

Unyte is delivering a carpark and bridge project at the King’s Christian College Reedy Creek campus, helping connect the main school grounds to the new sports field and running track behind the high school.

Working within a natural causeway has meant wet ground and challenging site conditions, but the team has kept the momentum going through smart planning and close collaboration on site.

Brighter Days brings together music and community to raise funds for seriously ill children and their families, a cause close to our friends at McFadyen Pipeline Construction.

Held in Bright over the Labour Day long weekend, the family-friendly fundraising event supports incredible organisations including DEBRA Australia, Cooper Trewin Foundation, and Cure EB Foundation.

Time flies when you're placing 514,000m3 of fill 💪

After 18 months, we’re pumped to have finished the first phase of works on McKimmies Road, setting the stage for future residential and industrial development.

When we say this was a huge one, we mean it:
🪨 455,000m3 of surcharge material. We're talking enough to cover about 22 AFL ovals!
🚛 80,041 truckloads of material.
👷 1,520,000LM of vertical wicks installed.

New road loading...

After the severe flood and storm damage in October 2022, our Unyte crew has been on-site, tackling the floodway rehabilitation for Yeungroon Road in Charlton.

Here’s a snapshot of what we accomplished:

🔨 Removal of existing road surface and excavation to subgrade height
🛠️ Placement and compaction of pavement layers
🪚 Concrete pavement installation
🛣️ Asphalt surfacing
🚦 Road signage installation
🛤️ Kerb installation

Despite the area's limited resources, our team worked closely with local contractors and suppliers to ensure a smooth process and also made sure to keep access open for local businesses and residents throughout the project.

Construction at Culcairn⚡

We're breaking new ground at Neoen Australia's Culcairn Solar Farm, a massive 440 MWp renewable electricity project! Covering 1,000 hectares, it’s set to be one of New South Wales' largest solar farms once it’s up and running.

We're excited to be on board to handle bulk earthworks, road stabilisation, internal road construction, drainage work, and concrete pavement construction!

Watch out, world, here we come! 🚜

Unyte Southern has achieved prequalification for Road Construction Level R2, Bridge Construction Level B1, and Financial Level F75 under the National Prequalification System (NPS) in Victoria. Even better, we've also received mutual recognition in NSW, QLD, WA, and TAS!

We're now working towards mutual recognition in SA and ACT.

This prequalification pushes us to break new ground and keep doing what we do best – moving dirt and building infrastructure!
