Another Home Run in Homeworld by Instyle Stairs.
This project features a bespoke architectural mono stringer staircase designed as a
striking yet functional centerpiece within the space. The staircase is fabricated from
high-quality structural steel, engineered to provide strength, longevity, and a visually
refined, minimalist profile.
The central mono stringer forms the primary structural element, allowing the treads to
appear floating and ensuring an open, lightweight aesthetic. All steel components are
custom fabricated to suit the site conditions and finished in a durable, high-quality
coating selected to complement the surrounding interior architecture.
The staircase is complemented by frameless glass balustrading, enhancing
transparency and maximizing light flow. Toughened safety glass panels are installed in
accordance with relevant Australian Standards, providing safety without compromising
the clean, contemporary design. Fixings are discreetly detailed to maintain a seamless
appearance.
Treads in American Red Oak have been finished in half strength Japan Black to balance
durability, comfort underfoot, and visual harmony with the overall design. All junctions,
welds, and interfaces are carefully detailed to ensure precision, safety, and
architectural integrity.
