We are deeply saddened to hear the loss of Phillip Venning here at Babirra. He would have classed our Dohnes for over 20 years and has made a true impact in our flock. He was a true sheep expert and his wisdom and knowledge will be missed. You were a great man Phillip. Rest in Peace 🐑

In a poignant moment for Phillip Venning's family, he passed away on show day, October 5 - the same day one of his beloved ewes' fleeces was awarded supreme champion fleece.

Friday last week we classed the Poll Merino ewe hgts. Pleased with how the sheep and wool look considering the conditions they have been running under.
This week we have been shearing weaned Poll Merino and Dohne ewes, worker rams and the Poll Merino ewe hgts.
