We are thrilled to announce that diamond drilling will kick off in January 2025, focusing on priority step-out targets at the Darlington and Wildwood Prospects. The 1,500-metre drilling program is fully funded following our recent $1.3M capital raise and will be delivered in partnership with Trimac Drilling, known for their expertise and local experience.

North Stawell Minerals is pleased to present our quarterly report for June 2024.

Highlights include the appointment of Mr. Campbell Olsen as interim CEO bringing a wealth of Victorian mining experience to NSM’s management team. Mr. Olsen commented:

“A challenging quarter for NSM, but we’ve continued to progress our corporate and operations positions, with focus on capital raising to support operations. Activities have been tailored to accommodate industry-wide junior exploration funding headwinds.

Planning remains focused on drill-testing of two key prospects –Wildwood and Darlington – when access and funding permit. Both targets remain priorities following excellent results from the most recent drilling.

At Wildwood, gold-bearing structures intersecting the target Wildwood basalt can be extended down-plunge into untested areas of the shallow Mineral Resource (ASX:NSM 23 June 2023). The target includes an opportunity for mineralisation to spill onto the flanks of the basalts – a critical requirement for increased tonnes that would significantly upgrade the identified mineralisation.”

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr. Campbell Olsen as the new interim Chief Executive Officer of North Stawell Minerals (NSM), effective immediately. Mr. Olsen who is also a Non-Executive Director for our company, brings a wealth of expertise and experience to his new role.

With a distinguished career in private equity and operational management in the mining industry. Mr Olsen was responsible for the purchase and restart of the Stawell Gold Mine and brings a deep insight into the Stawell corridor, in which NSM operates. He was the originator of the NSM project from its days as a private company through to listing on the ASX and brings a unique understanding of the geology and mineralogy of the Stawell corridor.

Victoria is Australia's third biggest gold producing state, and the leader in gold exploration growth, paving the way for new gold mines in our state.

The Council of Australia released a new publication this month - ‘Golden: The Rise of Industrial Gold’. This publication outlines the growing range of uses of gold in technology and medicine, and the importance of gold to Australia’s economy. Highlighting the importance of gold exploration, particularly in our state of Victoria, that was built on gold.
