My new place doesn't have the room for my normal full-size woodworking workshop. But that's okay, I've been feeling the need to scale down from large wooden pieces and instead working with cardboard and paper mache instead.

I think this piece is amazing, and I'd love to teach myself to create a whole new style of AI driven, animatronic BushPunk characters in this style. 🤗

The BushPunks have taken their first highway trip - down to stay at a friend's place in Gympie while I keep looking for a new home for us in the Noosa hinterland. 😊

In all my packing up, I must've packed up the keys to The BushPunks towball lock as well! 🤦

I wanted to take it out and pump up the tyres this week, only to find I couldn't. 😂

After turning the house upside down twice, I decided the only way forward was to buy a new lock and cut the old one off. 🤷

Now... Where did I put the new keys? 🤔🤣

Once I've moved and settled back in the Sunny Coast, one of my first personal projects will be to dust off Mirra and K9 and re-engineer them with newer technology and fun, quirky AI personas. 😊

Welcome to BushPunk Animatronics and Kinetic Art!

Based on the Sunshine Coast, I bring imaginative ideas to life - combining custom mechatronics, interactive tech, and my unique Artificial Personality (AP) tech to build unique physical experiences.

Unlike basic informational chatbots, the AP tech I've developed gives animatronic characters autonomous, flawed, human-like personas that actively sense and react to their environment in real time - allowing unscripted theatrical interaction with their surroundings, each other, and the audience.

What I Do:

⚙️ Custom Animatronics and Characters
Animatronic figures engineered with realistic movement, sound, and distinct AP personas for venues, attractions, and stages.

🎨 Kinetic Art and Public Installations
Eye-catching moving sculptures and dynamic control systems for artists, festivals, and public spaces.

🧠 Autonomous AP / AI Tech
Custom Artificial Personalities that allow characters to perceive their environment, improvise, banter, and react instantly in real time.

🛠️ Custom R&D and Prototyping
Turning complex interactive ideas into reliable physical builds and working prototypes.

📩 Projects and Inquiries
