Icon Building Design We are an independent Building Design studio that looks beyond the confines of four walls and considers overall design to meet your needs.

I have been involved in the Building Design Industry on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland for over 18 years. For 10 years I have been gaining essential experience improving my skills in a structural engineering company. My qualifications:

* Bachelor of Building Design (CQU)

* BERs Energy Efficiency Assessments

* BSA - Building Design License. I am committed to designing to the clients needs whilst incorporating my experience and qualifications to ensure the building performs well saving the clients thousands of dollars in energy costs. In order to keep up to date with the ever changing building legislation and regulations I am a member of the Building Designers Association of Queensland and Housing Industry Association. (BDAQ)

Previous projects include individual houses, both new and renovations, dual living and multi-residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Most of my designs have been on the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas, however I have designed buildings as far north as Mackay and Keswick Island.

From humble beginnings to 500 builds. 2026 will be the year marking the 500th built/completed project for Icon Building Design. Thank you to everyone that trusted Icon in its 11 years of operation. It has been my goal to assist my clients by designing their dream homes and I have met some amazing people along the way.

The assistance of a drone and video footage at the initial site inspection allows Icon to pinpoint views from various areas of the house… this amazing block in Buderim has views to Mt Coolum that was requested to be part of the design rather than blocking it from the front door.
