This afternoon we were pleased to welcome Dan Purdie MP to Advanced Aquarium Technologies for a constructive discussion about the future of the K***a Park light industrial precinct.

The meeting was an initiative of and jointly hosted by K***a Park Alliance* pioneer Norm Horton, and provided an opportunity to introduce the emerging Alliance—an initiative bringing together around 450 businesses and 4,500 workers across this well-established Sunshine Coast industrial precinct.

Discussions focused on shared priorities including transport infrastructure and telecommunications and data connectivity, as well as the broader goal of strengthening connection and collaboration across the precinct.

We appreciate Dan taking the time to meet with us and his willingness to attend a future K***a Park Alliance gathering.

We're happy as a clam in the mud at high tide to have been announced as a one of 43 finalists in the 2023 Premier of Queensland's Export Awards.

Winners will represent Queensland at the national titles in Canberra in November.

Also, Go Queensland: our home State led all other states and territories with 208 entries from 86 businesses.

Now in their 33rd year, the Export Awards recognise Queensland businesses for their innovation, resilience, and determination, especially as they strive to grow and expand their global footprints.

“These annual awards recognise and celebrate Queensland’s exporters expanding and innovating internationally," said Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk. “Queensland exports high-quality products and services to every corner of the globe, known for their ingenuity, creativity and passion.”

The awards will be presented at a gala dinner at the Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre on 18 October 2023.

The Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards is back to celebrate exporters within these 14 categories.
