Joined by the Hon. Chris Bowen, Minister for Climate Change and Energy, and Councillor Diane Colman from Cumberland Council, Bryan was presented with a framed memento by David Apps, President of Greystanes FC. The presentation recognised Willowdene Constructions' ongoing support of the club and the local community, and the memento will hang proudly in our boardroom

At Willowdene Constructions, we’re committed to supporting our community and helping children develop both essential life skills and have fun along the way. We had the pleasure of meeting with the Evolve Housing team to present our contribution of 30 children’s bike helmets. These were used in their Bikes & Brakes workshop, a hands-on program designed to teach essential biking skills.

We are currently looking for more vibrant and passionate admin staff for our fast growing office.

About the business

Willowdene Constructions is a family owned and run business based in Penrith. We are a family orientated business with a great working atmosphere and supportive environment.
We contract to Social and Community housing groups across NSW for all their maintenance needs.

About the role

This role includes but is not limited to;
• Assisting with programming and running jobs with field supervisors and tradesmen from start to finish
• Liaising with clients, tradesmen and colleagues
• Answer phones, general office duties
• Reconciling invoices
• Flexible work hours

Previous experience with DOH work would be preferable but is not essential

Skills and experience required include

• Strong communications skills – both verbal and written
• Great experience with WORD, EXCEL and Outlook
• Excellent organisational skills
• Good problem solving ability
• Neat and tidy appearance
• Own reliable transport
• Attention to detail
• Time management
• A steady work history with contactable references
• Ability to work autonomously as well as a part of a team

This artwork is inspired by the wonderful work done by Willowdene.
The background depicts the area Willowdene reaches, from the ocean - across the plains - and into the mountains.
The dots in earthy tones represent the communities that Willowdene works among - from helping maintain peoples homes, through to creating targeted job opportunities, and to supporting charity and community works.
The idea of people centred community is further expanded upon with the symbol for people presented in varying skin tones - depicting the diverse nature of the people Willowdene serves.
