The HTMAXigest trio applied to high technology shrimp farming helps minimize the risk of stormy season.

Rainstorms lead to the following consequences:

Rain often leads to a drop in temperature, usually around 5-60C, which can vary depending on different atmospheric conditions. Shrimp's food absorption depends greatly on temperature factors. A decrease in pond water temperature of 100C can lead to a decrease in food consumption of 5-10%.

Rainwater will also alter other important water parameters due to the dilution of pond water with fresh water. This will lead to a decrease in pH and cause differences in salinity and alkalinity, depending on the volume of rainwater and existing pond management practices.

- When pH and alkalinity are low, the activity of phytoplankton and beneficial bacteria will be disrupted. Similarly, when alkalinity decreases, shrimp shells can weaken due to lack of necessary minerals.

- Lack of sunlight during showers can also slow down phytoplankton activity and reduce dissolved oxygen (DO) levels.
All of these unfavorable factors combined together will cause slow growth of farmed shrimp, weak immune response in shrimp, and thin shrimp shells. In the worst case, the molting process may fail, lasting 2-3 days. Water environments with low DO, pH and temperature are also ideal conditions for Vibrio spp. thrive, increasing the risk of bacterial infection for shrimp.
