Tylim Civil are recruiting an Experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor

This is a full-time role for a Senior Quantity Surveyor. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for managing and controlling costs for various construction projects. You'll be involved in cost planning, cost reporting, cost management, and developing Bills of Quantities (BOQ).

Qualifications:
Experience in Cost Control, BOQ preparation, and Cost Management
Strong financial and analytical skills
Ability to forecast costs and prepare budgets
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Relevant degree or tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, construction management, or a related field
Experience in the construction industry is a plus

Minimum Skills and Qualification required:
Bachelor's Degree and/or post graduate qualifications in Quantity Surveying
Prior experience within the Civil, Concrete and Construction sector
Advanced computer skills
Excellent communication skills dealing with a variety of different stakeholders
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to consistently produce accurate information at a fast pace
Well-honed and can manage competing deadlines
Ability to drive improvements and efficiencies through innovation and self-initiative
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationship

- Reviewing tender documentation
- Issuing trade packages
- Prepare take-offs and tender estimates
- Recommending and delivering bid strategies and value engineering options on tenders
- Reviewing & analysing subcontractor quotes and negotiate to obtain best prices
- Assist in the preparation of tender submissions
- Report directly to the director

Qualifications
- Min 4 years experience in concreting and pipeline
- Ability to work in a team
- Must have a good attitude
- White Card / induction card
