MPA Australia's leading interior fitout and refurbishment company specialising in workplace, hospitality, retail and education.

As Australia’s leading interior fitout and refurbishment company, we are a business built on delivery, trust and ongoing service – three essential pillars of genuine partnerships and long-term relationships. We think big and act small - we’ve got the experience and resources of a large business, but the service philosophy of a small business. Our delivery is tailored to suit your specific requirem

ents and project outcomes. As a partner and not simply a contract, we are involved in all aspects of project delivery, including managing design consultants, deriving optimised value management, coordinating documentation and seeking statutory approvals. Our service is end-to-end, incorporating on-site construction, facilitating handover documentation and providing the occupancy certificate at practical completion. This service also extends to post practical completion client care, meaning support across our works throughout the warranty period and beyond, should you require it.

MPA recently completed the new Afterpay Melbourne headquarters, located at The GPT Group’s tower in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD.
collaborative designed a fast and flexible space that reflects the pace and culture of this rapidly evolving business, with technology, collaboration and community at the core of their design.

Set across 4 floors, this 5000sqm project includes open plan work floors, collaborative spaces, contemplation areas, a wellness offering, and a lofty winter garden featured through the stair void.

As expectations have shifted, along with our behaviours, our motivations and our values, businesses have had to consider what it is that motivates people to return to the workplace. Afterpay have listened and created a truly exciting place to collaborate and work.

It was a pleasure for the MPA team to work with the Afterpay and The Studio Collaborative teams to bring this exciting project to life. There were some valuable lessons learned that have contributed to the development of our team and led to future growth opportunities, for which we are grateful.

Designed to reflect places of awe and wonder inspired by the Australian natural landscape, MPA brought this design to life by building a space that created a ‘journey of discovery’. This included parametric walls that mimic the iconic Figure 8 Pools based in NSW’s Royal National Park, reflective ceilings to represent the rippling effect of the water, cave-like environments as well as countless tunnels of greenery.
