Dual Pipe Jacking Under Sydney Roadway.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Elite Survey successfully executed a high-precision dual pipe jacking project that involved the installation of two pipes over a 180-meter stretch beneath one of Sydney's busiest roadways. Given the challenging environment, a reliable control network was essential for accurate setup, monitoring, and positioning.
To achieve the required precision, Elite Survey developed a robust control network using eight survey prisms positioned at the shaft's top. These prisms were tied to the above ground control network, enabling the survey team to confidently carry out setout and continuous monitoring from below ground level.
The pipes emerged at the exit shaft with a deviation of only 15mm, both horizontally and vertically. This level of precision demonstrated the effectiveness of the control network and the skillful application of surveying techniques under challenging conditions.

Surveying for Wharf expansion in Sydney.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Elite Survey was contracted to assist in the construction of an additional berth face on one of Sydney's refinery wharfs, enhancing docking facilities for larger vessels.
40-meter-long Steel Piles: These piles were driven deep into the seabed to provide a stable foundation for the new berth face, ensuring resilience against heavy loads and marine conditions.
With a structure positioned 900m from shore, we had to adopt GPS techniques for our initial control network along with adjustments to align with the existing berth face.
Construction then consisted of 40m long steel piles driven into the seabed, precast concrete shells and steel bollards and walkways.
