Our operations team wrapped up the week delivering great results on-site — and the sunset seemed to agree, giving us a golden send-off after a job well done.

The Final Touch 🎬

It's easy to overlook the layers beneath our feet — but on a landfill site, precision at every layer is what keeps a whole system working into the future.

In this clip, our team installs a separation geotextile over the leachate drainage aggregate, trimmed to an exact 300mm above the landfill basal liner.

Why does that matter? Because that basal liner is the last line of defence in a landfill structure protecting the surrounding environment — and getting this layer right the first time means no wasted material, no added cost for our council client, and no compromise on long-term performance.

The geotextile itself works quietly but does a big job: stopping fine particles from the waste mass migrating into the drainage aggregate, so the drainage system keeps doing its job long after the cameras stop rolling.

Small tolerances. Big consequences. That's the final touch. 🎥

🔹 Labourer – no experience required, but must hold a White Card; opportunity to be trained in welding and other specialized tasks
