🙌 PROJECT THROWBACK: Manton Dam Solar Farm 🙌

Partnering with Tetris Energy, Tranex Solar was awarded the contract by BSR Energy to oversee the construction of Manton Dam Solar Farm for developer ENI.

Working collaboratively with all stakeholders, Tranex Solar still reflects on this project with esteem.

Located approximately 70km South of Darwin in the Northern Territory, the Manton Dam Solar Farm is a 12.5 MW DC project which had a mechanical scope including 4,435 piles, 341 NEXTracker single-axis trackers and 28,420 PV modules.

This Solar Farm Farm generates the equivalent of approximately 53,000-megawatt hours (MWh) per annum of clean, renewable electricity into the national power grid each year, thereby making a major contribution to Australia’s greenhouse gas reductions.

🌞 This reduction will be equivalent to taking either 14,700 cars off the road or planting 11,900 trees, producing enough electricity to power approximately 11,500 homes with renewable energy.

💡 Tranex Solar Pty Ltd remains the most trusted solar contractor in Australia, known for completing every project we have started.

🌞 Exciting News in Solar Power Efficiency! 🌞

Over the years there has been significant increase in solar cell efficiency. Solar Panel efficiency is measured as percentage of how much of the sunlight that hits a Solar Panels will be converted to electricity.

Early Solar Panels had an efficiency % of between 15-20%

📈 Solar power generation has reached new heights with an astonishing 39.5 conversion rate under 1-sun global illumination. ⚡💡📈

These breakthroughs have the potential to revolutionise solar power generation and accelerate the transition globally to a Greener Future!

⚡ Solar energy has long been recognised as a clean and sustainable alternative to traditional power sources, but maximising its potential has been a constant focus for scientists and engineers.

The latest scientific developments, as highlighted in the published study journal Joule [https://bit.ly/3N4TOFB], demonstrate the ongoing efforts to increase solar cell efficiency and harness the full power of the sun.

At Tranex Solar , we are passionate about staying ahead of the curve in the fast-moving solar industry. We believe that constant updates on the latest scientific breakthroughs and developments are crucial to accelerating the adoption of solar power on a global scale.
