A small residential project in Chester Hill involving the removal and replacement of a fully suspended ceiling system, as well as new ceiling tiles.

Recently, we wrapped up on a full refurbishment of a kitchen, bathroom and laundry in a Surry Hills residential building. This included the demolishment of a bare room, installing new waterproofing, joinery, benchtops, tiling & appliances. The bathroom was reconfigured to remove the bathtub and to accommodate for a larger shower area—complete with a frameless shower screen.

Seaforth—one of the many picturesque suburbs of Manly and the Northern Beaches.

This laundry and open spaced back room was showing it’s decades long aesthetic and was in need of some renovation and repair.

Work included plastering, gyprocking, a fresh update to the laundry basin, tap and countertop, as well as a new paint job to finish off the project.

Willhoughby Backyard Renovation

Taken on from an unfinished demolition by another contractor, this project involved quite an extensive amount of work.

The remaining deck framing and rubble was removed, and replaced with new deck framing to support the beautiful Merbau timber decking. Finishing touches included sanding and staining, as well as the reinstallation of the glass balustrade system.

The remaining area at the back of the pool was cleared and then replaced with a Travertine tiled patio area with in ground uplights.

Due to rain leaks over the years, this stunningly ornate living room ceiling in Killara was finally repaired and painted, bringing it back to its former glory. An extremely satisfying job on this old, beautiful Aussie home.

A great project to wrap up on in Fairlight, Manly.

Work involved the removal of a decaying timber clothesline enclosure. Due to being in a coastal area, we replaced this with a more durable colorbond slat clothesline enclosure including a new BBQ area with stone bench and built in electric BBQ.

PROJECT COORDINATOR/MANAGER WANTED

At BD Property Repairs we undertake all aspects of building work—from small residential repairs to full renovations, working across both the insurance and private sectors.

We aim to provide all our customers with the same professionalism and quality product workmanship whether it is a national insurance builder or a private client.

Working from our office in Bondi Junction, we are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking individual with either Project Manager or Trade experience to join our team and help us continue to deliver the same efficient and reliable service our customers are used to.

The ideal candidate will:

- Have previous Project Management or Trade experience.
- Have created or worked from a scope of works.
- Have great communication skills to maintain a professional and positive company image.
- Have good general knowledge of building processes and building products.
- Have a knowledge of NSW regulations and procedures.
- Ready to start immediately.
- Construction industry white card.
- Full driving licence.

Skills & Duties:

- Be able to organise a workforce to deliver projects on time and to budget.
- Have understanding of the requirements of the project in hand.
- Understand methodologies and scope of works.
- Able to develop and maintain relationships with new clients with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be comfortable with face to face negotiations and on the phone.
- Be able to read construction drawings.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Select advantageous deals by evaluating offers and quotes.
- Create and follow up on leads resulting in new work.
