The 2026 City2Surf will take place on Sunday, 9th of August, and this year more than 50 members of the Belmadar team will be participating to help raise money for blood cancer research.
As always, we do this in honour of Domenico Marrocco, the original founder of Belmadar, who remains deeply loved and remembered by so many within our team.
This year, we’re aiming higher than ever, with a fundraising goal of $70,000. Every dollar raised will go directly to Dr Jim Blackburn’s team at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. Their groundbreaking genomics research has wide-reaching applications across a range of diseases, transforming how doctors identify and treat gene mutations.
