Behind the build: Central West Bridge, Stage 1.

Every bridge starts with the details. Reinforcement cages tied by hand, formwork built to precise tolerances, concrete poured and finished under open sky.

Add in crane lifts over water and a site that doesn't always cooperate with the weather, and you get a real sense of what it takes to deliver civil infrastructure right.

Our team worked through it all to get Stage 1 of the Central West Bridge project delivered to spec.

Central West Bridge, Stage 1 complete.

From beam delivery through to reinforcement, formwork and concrete pours, our team has delivered Stage 1 of the Central West Bridge project. Working across a live river site brings its own challenges, from crane lifts over water to weather that can turn on you fast, but the crew got it done.

It's a project that shows the full range of what McCawleys brings to civil infrastructure, precision, coordination and reliability from start to finish.

STAGE 3 - ENERGY POWER PLANT - CENTRAL WEST
This stage saw the site truly take shape. From completed concrete tanks and pump station structures through to major slab pours and finished pipework connections, our team delivered a huge scope of civil works across a live, operating industrial site.

Seeing the finished tanks standing alongside the cooling towers is a great reminder of just how much coordination goes into a project at this scale, formwork, reinforcement, concrete and precision timing, all coming together stage by stage.

Proud of the team behind every pour, every lift and every finish across Stage 3.
