Our new KBK crane system is officially going up in the workshop.

For our team, this means better safety and the ability to run multiple builds simultaneously.

For our customers, it means getting high-quality pump packages out the door and onto your site at a much faster rate. 🛠️

Designed to be rebuilt, not replaced.

With this Gorman-Rupp pump, you can pull the entire internal package out as one unit. The main casing stays completely intact while worn parts are inspected or replaced on the bench.

You don’t need to replace the whole pump body just because the wear components have reached the end of their service life.

Swap out the worn parts, set the clearances, and put the pump straight back to work.

Designing equipment to be repaired rather than replaced is what keeps long-term maintenance costs down and extends asset life on site.

Two blokes, two completely different coffee setups, and only one winner. Campbell's manual grind vs Jordan's automatic push-button going head-to-head in the kitchen. Who are you backing?

Why It Matters Where Your Pump Is Made.

There is a quiet confidence that comes with knowing exactly where your equipment comes from.

Campbell breaks down why Gorman-Rupp’s American foundries produce fully tested, rugged components built to last for decades in the field.

What Is Pump Clearance? (And Why It Matters)

Campbell keeps it real and shows you with an actual pump part.

He explains the important gap between the impeller and the wear plate, what good clearance looks like, and why getting it right makes a big difference to how well the pump performs and how long it lasts.

Really practical stuff every operator and mechanic should know. 💪

Nice to see this Gorman-Rupp T Series still doing its job on wastewater duty. 💧👌

A meat processing site in south-east Queensland, running the T Series on the effluent side of the plant.

Sitting above ground on its own skid, out in the open where anyone can walk up to it. Nothing in a wet well, nothing to lift, and the cover plate comes off when it needs a look at.

The sort of setup you stop thinking about, because it just gets on with the job.

Meet the Gorman-Rupp Venturi Echo-Storm Aerator! 🌀

Campbell shows how this compact unit pairs with a Gorman-Rupp pump to pull in water, run it through a static venturi system, and deliver heavily oxygenated water back to your lagoon.

By keeping the setup bank-mounted instead of submerged, access and safety are vastly superior! 💧

High-shear pumps can easily ruin delicate, high-value product lines.

Ragazzini peristaltic hose pumps use a gentle roller design that smoothly compresses the internal hose to move fluid without aggressive mechanical agitation.

Because no impellers or tight internal tolerances are churning the liquid, it is ideal for shear-sensitive applications like w**e, dairy, honey, and delicate emulsions.

Efficiency vs Effectiveness.💡

Campbell breaks it down on the whiteboard.

You can chase 85% efficiency on a datasheet.

But if the pump keeps clogging in real wastewater? It becomes 0% effective.

Efficiency = looks good on paper.
Effectiveness = keeps running when things get ugly at 2 AM.

True engineering means choosing the pump that actually gets the job done.

Which one are you really relying on? 👇

Behind the engineering of the Eradicator solids management system. ⚙️✂️

Stringy material blockages are the biggest headache in meat processing and municipal wastewater. Rags and aggressive fibres wrap around standard impellers, causing costly clogs, efficiency drops, and constant maintenance debt.

The solution is a specialised wear plate with a patented tooth design. It continuously shears debris as it enters the pump, utilising a recirculation port to push troublesome materials straight through the line.

If ragging is eating into your monthly maintenance budget, it is time to choose an above-ground system designed to fight back.
