COOGEE | FROM STRUCTURAL FAILURE TO A COMPLETE TRANSFORMATION 🔨

There’s a lot more to this one than meets the eye! 👀
What started as a failed retaining wall alongside a neighbouring swimming pool turned into a major structural rectification project.

With restricted access, significant excavation and neighbouring structures to consider, this was no straightforward job.

From exposing the failed retaining wall, carrying out the structural works, structurally stabilising the existent pool, right through to the finishing touches, our team tackled the challenges to completely transform this outdoor space.

The finished result? A sleek combination of composite screening, eco decking and custom stairs, giving the area a fresh, modern look.

Over the past week, we’ve shared some of the individual spaces and details — now, here’s how it all comes together.

A private wellness space designed with every element considered. From the full-height textured tiling and natural stone to the brushed brass finishes, statement lighting, fluted glass and integrated LED lighting.

The powder room, shower and steam room each have their own identity, while flowing seamlessly together as one refined space.

It’s the details you notice — and the ones you don’t — that make a finish feel effortless.

IT’S ALL IN THE DETAIL ✨

A small space, but one with a lot to offer.

Full-height gloss and satin tiles, natural stone, statement fluted glass basin, custom aged brass tapware, in wall cistern, full-height fluted glass door, integrated lighting and a full-height custom fitted mirror — all brought together against the off form concrete ceiling.

The beauty of a space like this is in the ex*****on. Tile set-outs, fixture positioning, lighting, stonework and finishes all need to work together for the end result to feel this seamless.

Rain or shine, progress doesn’t stop. 🌧️🏗️

Despite the wet weather, our team has continued pushing this Double Bay project forward, completing the basement slab, structural stair installation and extensive steel reinforcement in preparation for the next concrete pour.

Planning, coordination and quality workmanship keep a project moving—even when the weather doesn’t cooperate.
