CDC or DA?
A CDC is a faster approval, usually through a private certifier, for projects that tick all the boxes in the planning rules. A DA goes through council when your project falls outside them.
The mistake we see most is homeowners going deep into drawings, or even lodging with council, before a builder has looked at the site. By then the design might not fit the approval you actually need, or itβs going to cost far more to build than anyone expected.
Get us involved early and weβll tell you which approval you need and what your site will allow, and flag the costly stuff before itβs drawn. Then we can help coordinate the approvals with you.
