Remediate / Recladding

About to hand over our latest Remediation/Recladding job at RISE Waterloo with . An interesting job with multiple forms of access required, from static scaffolds, large scale Boom Lifts & swinging stage scaffolds, all operating on an occupied building in the heart of Waterloo. Replacing combustible ACP panel with 3mm solid aluminium panels to provide a compliant non-combustible facade.

Throwback to last year when we handed over the $33m Brookvale Oval Redevelopment Centre of Excellence and Grandstand in conjunction with for .

The first stage in Manly’s planned facilities upgrade consisted of new gyms, Game Day change rooms, Aquatic Rehabilitation Area, medical centre, offices, private suites & film study suite to name a few.

Designed with a clean modern industrial look, many acoustical finishes were applied internally to help create a clean and comfortable environment for the organisation including ‘s Absorb XHD & ‘s Globe Designpanel perforated plasterboard among others.

Finally a sleek and clean facade was created with Exotec CFC facade panelling system, offset with 3mm solid aluminium cladding & .metal perforated steel sheets.

Completed in July 2020, The Canopy in Lane Cove is an $85M redevelopment creating a shopping precinct, community park, village green, children’s playground, BBQ area, restaurant precinct & 500-space underground carpark.

Partnering with , Dunrite Linings utilised all aspects of our skillsets to install a multitude of bespoke finishes to create a signature multipurpose space that mixes both purpose and aesthetics together to enrich the local community.

We are pleased to hand over our latest cladding installation to Thompson Healthcare at Oran Park, in collaboration with Northside Constructions.

An interesting installation of Mitsubishi Alpolic NC (Non-Combustible) helped bring alive the facade and make the site unique in the area.

When on-site situations call for innovative solutions, we contact our long-term fabrication partners Keystone Linings.

At Merrylands Public School we required a decorative, acoustic & impact resistant lining to several outdoor undercroft areas.

Collaborating with we designed and fabricated a custom perforated 9mm CFC lining board from James Hardie. Installed to Rondo external soffit framing with Bradford Acoustiguard acoustic insulation to provide a complete system solution.

One of our larger projects recently completed, the refurbishment of the 11-story Elizabeth Street David Jones in Sydney’s CBD was a flagship job completed in conjunction with Mainbrace Constructions.

While maintaining the soul of the heritage listed building, we helped create an exquisite shopping and dining precinct to tease all your senses and let you engage in some high-end retail therapy.

With high vaulted ceiling coffers, heritage-matched plaster cast decorative cornices, column capitals, concealed lighting channels and much much more, this ceiling has it all.

Also featured were Alpolic claddings to lift fronts, retail spaces and escalators.

Our personal favourite though would have to be the Millennium Falcon built in the Level 8 Toy section! Brings out the kid in all of us...

Acoustic Soffit Insulation such as CSR Martini's soffit grade Absorb XHD can really transform a large open area into a much more welcoming and workable space, such as we installed at our Ausgrid Artamon Depot job in 2019.

It was fascinating to 'hear the silence' once this insulation was installed - you could almost feel it!

Acoustic performance can sometimes be overlooked in some businesses, causing discomfort, hearing issues and more. With the right insulation installed these issues can be significantly reduced and the bare concrete soffit above hidden.
