Veronica, second-year apprentice. This one’s hers.
Veneer laid by hand. Timber machined, joints worked out, the whole assembly sequenced and dominoed together. Stained and sealed, start to finish, on her own.
Curved Perspex, solid timber frame, contrast base. Not a simple piece to build in your twentieth year of the trade, let alone your second. This is what a real apprenticeship looks like, not sweeping floors for four years, but being trusted with a piece like this and rising to it.

Master dressing room in American oak.
Full-height hanging bays with integrated LED to every shelf and rail. Oak veneer drawer boxes on Blum Australia soft-close movento runners, aged brass k***s and hanging rails, and a desk niche built to the window reveal. Book matched grain across the drawer fronts, backs and end panels, every panel sequenced so the figure runs continuously through the room.

A display cabinet finished in our workshop last week. The Perspex is bent to the corner radius rather than mitred, which means the frame has to be made to the glass, not the other way around — every rail and stile machined to suit, with a contrast band carried through the top and plinth mouldings so the line reads as one continuous detail from any angle.

Dover Heights Kitchen

Stained oak cabinetry with brass inlay detailing, a mirrored splashback to bounce that harbour light around, and a marble-topped island built for the whole family to gather.

Every panel, every shadow line, every brass trim mitred and fitted by our team in Botany. This is the kind of project we love, where the joinery does the talking.

Beading a curve can be slow work. Every length gets eased around the kidney-shaped frame and fitted by hand, twice over, because there are two of these, lucky we decided to glue the beading on fixed together before hand to speed up the process. Stay tuned.
