THE REAL RESULTS (an apples to apples comparison)
We’ve gotten a few questions lately from customers interested in our ARTEC SPORT 400 bolt on Turbo Kit for the Toyota GR Corolla / GR Yaris / Lexus LBX Morizo RR, specifically interested in results compared to a competitors 550 turbo.
Complete dyno graphs, mod lists, and results for our kit have always been available for everyone to see and compare at www.artecperformance.com. We’ve always shared results from our own test cars, as well as results from workshops from all around the world to allow for customers to see and compare real world, independent results.
A great package put together by ERS Evolution Racing Spares recently with our Sport 400 Turbocharger saw them achieve a huge 275.9kW at the hubs for a customers GR Corolla with the factory fuel injectors tuned by Tunesmith utilising ECUtek software.
Modifications on this car include a 3 inch turbo back exhaust, air intake, valve springs and titanium retainers, and a plazmaman.com intercooler all tuned on 98ron ECUtek. All other parts, including the fuel system were factory. Here are the real results from our Sport 400 with these supporting mods on the same dyno, tuned by the same great tuner TuneSmith.

TESTED & TUNED
Real world testing of our ARTEC Sport 400 Turbocharger began 3 years ago at World Time Attack Challenge, and over the last 12 months our kit has been delivering proven and reliable results for tuners and workshops across the world. We have been the world leader in G16 Bolt-on turbochargers since 2022 achieving 410whp with stock cams, Motec and E85.
With a genuine Garrett Motion G25-550 rotating assembly and our original ARTEC design compressor cover and turbine housing, our customers are getting proven performance with trusted reliability. Nothing has been copied from the factory turbo and it is a true ground-up engineered solution, unlike anything else on the market. Most of our competitors turbochargers use design features copied from reputable innovative companies as they are not able to design from scratch like we are.
Our ARTEC Sport 400 Kit, you are getting a bolt-on package with everything you need including an OEM quality oil and water line kit, brand new high boost wastegate actuator, and a high performance Turbosmart blow off valve, no hidden costs!
FURTHER DEVELOPMENT
With further intensive development, we turned our attention to seeing what we could achieve using the stock ecu and tuning software from Ecutek. We have done this to try and deliver a lower cost solution to the GR community while still delivering big power.
In 2025 we achieved that a made a best of 415whp on using the Garrett G25-550 rotating assembly in our Sport 400 turbo. The key components to achieve this were the ARTEC Sport 400 turbo, Cool Runnings Water m**h kit, Kelford EZ cams and springs, Plazmaman / ARTEC spec intercooler, ARTEC Turbo back exhaust, K&N air intake, ARTEC intercooler pipe kit and throttle body elbow, and ARTEC Carbon Rear Intake Pipe.
We have not made anything public yet but we are on track to achieve over 400whp on pump fuel with stock cams with no water m**h on a stock ecu in early 2026!
