Whifbitz doing what they do so well and taking this Yaris to the next level with our Sport 400 turbo and a forged engine!

Max’s GR Yaris is back with us at Garage Whifbitz, and this time we’re taking things to the next level!

It’s already making around 350bhp, but Max has decided it’s time for another serious step up in performance.

This time we’ll be fitting an ARTEC Sport 400 turbo along with a fully forged engine build, giving us the strength and turbo capacity needed to push the G16E-GTS considerably harder.

The target is around 430bhp, while keeping the car responsive, usable and properly set up.

This is already a seriously impressive GR Yaris that’s had plenty of work and development over the years, so we’re looking forward to seeing what it can do with the new setup.

GM /SAAB / Holden / Fiat /Buik / Cadilac V6 manifolds (HFV6)

The new manifolds were designed for a few die hard GM developed HFV6 lovers that have been trying to find a solution for the very restrictive Factory 3 into 1 design.

After a lots of testing and back and forth development in American and Australia we can finally release our new manifolds which come as a “tuner’ kit. This means they require fabrication to be usable. We are working with further more complete option to be released later this year.

Our new manifolds flow 130% greater than the stock units.

They are supplied with outlet fl**ges to match up to 2” tube and our high strength cast clamps sets.

Introducing the ARTEC / Spectrum RB26DETT Sport 600 Turbo Set. 🔥

Developed in collaboration with Spectrum Motorsports Solutions and tested with Platinum Racing Products , the Sport 600s have been designed to deliver what we wanted from a modern stock-frame RB26 turbo package — serious response without sacrificing top-end power.

Testing on a stock-capacity 2.6L RB26 has already produced 650whp on E85, with the turbos conservatively rated at 600whp.

Paired with our new ARTEC RB26 turbo manifolds, dumps, front pipe, wastegate actuators and upcoming air intake system, the complete package delivers an incredibly broad, responsive powerband.

After extensive testing, the feedback from some very experienced GTR builders was simple: this is one of the best-performing stock-frame RB26 combinations they’ve experienced.

TWO JAY ZEE NO S**T

Its here and we are finally ready to start taking orders for the new 2JZ GTE Twin Turbo kits (700-1100hp).

Ok . . . let’s deal with the elephant in the room. . . “Why has it taken so long to get to market?” Simple. We didn’t JUST want to make a twin turbo kit as that’s been done before and some companies make them on demand now, we wanted to design and develop a kit that is: Compact (to fit multiple chassis), Versatile (to run a good selection of rotating assemblies that will allow customers to choose a power band that suits their needs), Well thought out: (every component on this kit was design from the beginning to be part of this kit, we didn’t grab off the shelf parts and then design a kit, we designed and engineered the following key parts to make it possible, Compressor cover, turbine housings in 2 sizes, manifold which is designed to use a single 50mm wastegate (for more clearance), Oil drain to make plumbing easy with 2 turbos, Radiator neck to tidy up the engine bay and allow easier plumbing for water, 2 down pipes that allow for extra bracing and separate 02 sensors, Titanium Intercooler Y pipe, and 2x 3.5” air intake tubes.

Stay tuned for builds from Scott (California), Trevor from (Colorado), Peter (Florida) and the team at (Sydney) on their own Supra development car.

Today we are releasing the “Tuner Kit” of the new Artec 2JZ GTE Twin Turbo kit. This kit will be supplied with all the core and key components to get your 2JZ up and running with an Old School style twin high mount turbo kit. For the tuner kit you will be required to fab the rest of the front pipe (due to different chassis people will be running, make oil and water lines, we supply the Y fitting that bolts to the block to make that process easier. You will also need to join the Y Intercooler pipe to your intercooler. Again this is due to different chassis. You will need to supply your own 50mm wastegate, this is designed around a Turbosmart 50mm Gen 5 unit. This kit should also be run with a 50mm BOV.

Pro Kit which will be more comprehensive will be launched later 2026!

Introducing the new ARTEC RB26 High Mount Twin Turbo kit!

Wind the years back to the 90’s and early 2000’s and flipping through HyperRev magazine or watching Option Video's or just checking out the JDM scene in general, The amount of cool Twin Turbo GTR’s and Supra’s made it seemed that every Japanese workshop had one multiple racing at Sendai Circuit or running them on the streets in the Midnight Club, down the Wangan.

We are super excited to show off our new Twin Turbo kit for the legendary RB26. This kit has been an absolute massive amount of work so we could make it fit all 3 R chassis variations as well as the ability to run large diameter air intake with air filters. Something most of the high mount twin of the past were unable to do.

I would like to thank our support network for pushing us to do this project and special thanks must go to the following companies and people: Alex at Birrong Automotive , Peter at Hdwerks, Herman at Platinum Racing Products , Scott from Chuckles Garage and Garrett - Advancing Motion. These kits would not have come to market without these people and companies.

We have specifically designed this kit to be optimised to run Garrett G25 through to G30 variation turbos. The kit also features Turbosmart 45mm wastgates and the ability to run the wastegates as vent to air or plumb back as shown in the pics.

The kit uses our new “extra” clearance engine mount bracket so we could tuck the front wastegate neatly to allow the plumb back function of the wastegate.

We will be posting more info about what these kits will be offered with, but we can say there will be 2 key levels, a “Tuner” kit and a “Pro“ kit.

Before anyone asks, we will be releasing info on the 2JZ GTE “Tuner” kit in a couple of days time with orders being able to be taken.

ARTEC RB26 Low Profile / High Clearance Stainless Engine Mount Bracket

This bracket was designed to to give maximum clearance on the turbo side to give more freedom to manifold makers and fabricators when designing turbo systems.

We designed this piece to allow us to tuck a 45mm wastegate in the newly created void for our new RB Twin High Mount Kit as well as extra clearance for another V-band manifold we have coming our shortly.

Introducing the new K series RWD V-band Hi Flow.

This new version is designed for higher horse power levels 750whp+ and maximum power on pump fuel. This unit has larger runners as well as the V-Band fl**ge is to suit the large ID Turbos from Garrett, Turbosmart and PTE.

This design can still run up to a 6870 as well as our G40 Compact Turbo.

We have been working with leading K series tuners and parts suppliers to create a more robust design to handle the inherent vibrations caused by particular head and block combinations as well as differing levels of engine mounts that are used in rear wheel drive conversions.�
This design offers a support bracket mount on towards the rear of the manifold to support the down pipe and reduce vibrations to the turbo and manifold.

We strongly suggest the use of our universal down pipe kit when fabricating the down pipe for an RWD K Series swap.

Note: This design is physically larger than the small runner version, so it will fit a reduced number of chassis.
We will post more info on our website listing next week showing some dimensions.
