It was a pleasure working with .au to complete the beautifully undulating facade of the BIO Research Building in the Medical Science Precinct at the University of Newcastle.

Bent and Curve Glass created 45 complex curved double and single-glazed panels in heat-strengthened, toughened, and annealed laminated low iron glass.

A standout feature is the graduated dot matrix patterned frit added to the glass surfaces to elevate the visual sense of movement within the flat and curved surfaces of the facade.

The challenges were many on this project but the results speak for themselves.
