Women in Mining Network NSW (WIMnet NSW) represents the interests of women working in the NSW minerals industry. The group is run by volunteers, with the support of the AUSIMM. WIMnet NSW seeks to address the shortage of women in non-traditional roles such as engineering, geology and surve
ying as well as addressing issues that impact the recruitment and retention of women in mining. Networking events are held throughout NSW to bring together women in mining to share information and experiences of working in the industry. The network is open to all women working in the NSW minerals industry and we particularly encourage those working in non-traditional roles to join. WIMnet NSW is a state group of the national Women in Mining Network (WIMnet) established by The AusIMM. Please note the following guidelines for using this page.
