Basco Projects is proud to announce the completion our latest Design & Construct project, a breathtaking Viewing Platform with connecting network of Accessible Boardwalks and Bridge at the picturesque Lakes of Cherrybrook, in partnership with Hornsby Shire Council.
This project was no ordinary walk in the park! We faced a series of unique challenges including;
• No access for machinery to more than half of the project
• Critical Root Zones in most Footing locations
• Removal of an existing dilapidated Timber Bridge
• All works within an Environmentally Protected Area
Our team utilised an innovative Footing System and non-conventional Access methods to ensure design intent was unaltered, engineering standards were met, and utmost respect and protection for the surrounding native environment were achieved.
What we've accomplished on this project is a testament to our team. Using Fibre Reinforced Plastic and Australian Hardwood we were able to seamlessly integrate this Viewing Platform and Accessible Network into its natural surroundings, enhanced by additional native landscaping, providing a fantastic experience for all who visit the stunning area.
