We are thrilled to be partnering with Acciona on the Western Harbour Tunnel project in Sydney, NSW.

The Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) will create a western bypass of the Sydney CBD, relieving pressure on major transport corridors. The 6.5km tunnel, scheduled to open in 2028, will feature a 6-lane roadway connecting the Rozelle Interchange with the Warringah Freeway.

Building on our experience with NorthConnex and Sydney Metro, FireSense has been selected to deliver a bespoke advanced fire system inclusive of 140 fire panels, data marshalling panels, multiple graphics systems, HLI modbus interface to Operations Management Control System and Plant Monitoring Control System, 26km of linear heat detection cable and end to end FAT testing to ensure optimal fire and life safety for the Western Harbour Tunnel.

FireSense is proud to be working with North East Link, delivering critical fire and life safety systems for one of Victoria’s most significant infrastructure project, consisting of twin road tunnels spanning more than 6 kilometres with two major interchanges.

Our experience with major infrastructure projects ensures we have the expertise to deliver bespoke fire and life safety solutions tailored to the project’s requirements. Every system has been engineered and rigorously tested through Factory Acceptance Tests, ensuring seamless, reliable operation in a highly integrated environment.

Celebrating 15 Years – Adam Fiore

15 years ago, Adam joined our team and set up the FireSense Melbourne branch. Adam’s determination, leadership, and hard work helped the branch grow quickly - requiring a move to larger facilities within 2 years – and it continues to thrive today.

Adam’s loyalty, drive, and teamwork have taken him from Melbourne to Sydney head office, leading the sales team and working closely with our customers and leadership team to grow into the role he holds today as Sales Director.

Congratulations Adam on reaching this significant milestone. Thank you for everything you’ve contributed, and we’re excited for the future and many more years of growth and success together!
