Coronavirus has caused a “racket” for a wide range of industries. But we have all had to adapt to the racket and carry out our tasks as best we can!

Here at Rotric Constructions, working at a distance on site is different to what we are used to... And sometimes it takes creating our own “racquet” to lighten the load.

What changes have you implemented as a result of Covid-19?

P.S. Be sure to check out the Bayview Hotel, Gladesville once reopened to the public!

A SITE (slight) DIFFERENCE!

Rotric Constructions has implemented temperature checkpoints to undertake daily on site... And of course, maintaining social distancing is a must whilst doing so!
This is one of the SITE (slight) DIFFERENCES adopted by our team as a result of Covid-19.
Thanks to everyone for playing their part!

What are you newly adopting in your organisation as a result of Coronavirus? (Whether it be the obvious, a tad out of the box, or let’s say a bit of a mood booster/light hearted example...)

Rotric Constructions was engaged to revitalise the existing premises at Hornsby Inn, as well as incorporate an additional dining offering in the form of a Thai Restaurant.

The space was reinvented in line with customer demographics and their wants. An external restaurant timber deck was constructed to house 100 people to dine at the Restaurant. The structure included recycled bricks for use of the outer walls, adding warmth and unique character.

The Project also included the extension of the internal space for the gaming area, and the refurbishment of the existing bar. Geometric tiling and indirect lighting was installed to the new bar so as to emphasise it as a focal point.

Vertical wall gardens were used to elevate lighting, improve air quality and create ambience.

Rotric Constructions secured the St Vincent’s De Paul storage warehouse refurbishment and shop fitout for vintage clothing and homewares.

The Project included upgrade works to increase the power capacity, new kitchenette, changing rooms and amenities. Rotric Constructions utilised our depth of experience in using recycled and reusable finishes. The diverse range of finishes consisted of recycled material such as recycled tubes, pipes, mirrors and doors, pre-used objects and customised pieces. Recycled timber was transformed into clothing stands, and roller shutters were reused to incorporate into the structure of clothing stands and benches.

Works also included a new mechanical switchboard, feature pendant lights, fire rated sliding door, new ramps and stairs and prefinished insulated ceiling panels. We provided value engineering solutions such as an alternative flooring finish to resemble concrete flooring, adding measurable value for the client.
