A huge congratulations to the talented students of Swifts Creek P-12 School who brought their metalwork project to life, transforming an idea and design concept into a magnificent kangaroo sculpture standing an impressive 3.200 metres tall on its plinth! 🦘

From the early stages of planning and design, through to fabrication, welding, and the final finish, the students demonstrated creativity, teamwork, and commitment. The recent unveiling of their kangaroo marks a fantastic achievement, and it now stands proudly at the front of the school as a lasting symbol of their hard work and skill.

A special congratulations also goes to Madelaine Last ( Mad Metal Creations by Madelaine Last) for her support throughout the project. Her knowledge and mentorship helped the students develop their ideas, learn new skills, and see their vision become a spectacular finished metal sculpture.

What an incredible achievement — a true masterpiece created through collaboration, learning, and determination! 👏
