Project Update | Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College & Kanwal Public School 🏗️

Progress continues across two Department of Education projects, with major milestones being achieved on site.

At Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College, cladding installation is complete and the new roof is scheduled for installation early next week, bringing the project one step closer to completion.

Meanwhile at Kanwal Public School, we’ve successfully delivered:
• 23 new air conditioning units installed
• Electrical infrastructure upgrades
• Over 200 linear metres of cable pathways, both overhead and concealed
• New covered walkways enhancing connectivity and weather protection across the school

Project Complete | Leppington Childcare Centre ✅

Proud to deliver this architecturally designed 92-place childcare centre in Leppington — one of the biggest projects we’ve had the pleasure of bringing to life.

This massive build features a 30-car underground basement, beautifully designed indoor learning spaces, and a huge outdoor play area where kids can explore, learn, and grow. Every detail was carefully considered to create a space that truly serves the Leppington community for years to come.

A huge thank you to every single person who played a role in making this one happen — from the first sod to the final finish. This one’s for the books. 🙌.

Kanwal Public School | HVAC & Infrastructure Upgrade

AFA are currently delivering a comprehensive services upgrade for School Infrastructure NSW at Kanwal Public School, improving comfort, functionality and long-term performance across the campus.

Stage 1 includes the installation of 16 new split-system air conditioning units throughout classrooms and administration buildings, along with over 200 metres of new overhead electrical cabling, a mains power upgrade and new distribution boards to support the expanded electrical capacity.

With these works progressing well, we’re now preparing for the next stage, which will see the design and construction of four new covered walkways across the school.

Completed roof replacement works at the Newcastle Memorial Park. ✅

This commercial remediation project was delivered with a full strip-out and replacement completed in just 1 week, ensuring minimal disruption while maintaining a high level of workmanship and site coordination.

Fast-track delivery, detailed planning and experienced trades are what allow AFA to consistently deliver remediation and upgrade projects efficiently across live environments and operational facilities. More commercial remediation works coming soon.

The project involved approximately 100m3 of concrete and precision-installed screw piles, ensuring strength, stability, and long-term performance.
