Push and pull for a great cause!

Evolution Mining Ernest Henry Operations’s sixth annual Tug of War event brought our people, contractors and local businesses together for an unforgettable night of fundraising, community spirit and fierce competition – all in the name of charity.

With an outstanding $80,000 raised, Starlight Children's Foundation Australia will continue to deliver happiness, joy and support to thousands of seriously ill children and their families across Australia.

We also attended the annual Starlight Children’s Foundation Dinner in Brisbane, contributing $10,000 to enable a family to stay in a Gold Coast property to have a relaxing break.

Well done to the team for their amazing efforts!

🌊🐟 Empowering the next generation of River Rangers

River Dreaming Aboriginal Corporation has launched the Junior River Ranger Program at the Narrandera Fisheries Centre, bringing together 80 excited Year 5 and 6 students for a day full of discovery and fun.

From hands-on fishing to exploring the John Lake Centre Aquarium and taking part in interactive learning sessions, students dove into the world of inland waterways, culture and conservation.

This inspiring program helps young people build strong connections to Country while learning how to care for the rivers and ecosystems of the Murray–Darling Basin. 🌿

By supporting this initiative through Evolution Mining Cowal Gold Operations' Cowal Partnering Program, we can’t wait to see more kids benefit from the program as River Dreaming Aboriginal Corporation delivers it across more schools and communities.

As we celebrate National Reconciliation Week at Evolution, across Australia we recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island peoples continued connection to Country, and our responsibility to work respectfully on the land.

Through partnerships, strong relationships and cultural heritage protection, we’re committed to contributing to reconciliation in meaningful and practical ways.

This year’s theme, ‘All in’ urges all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every day and that it will not happen without us all.

Utilising our $500,000 contribution to support recovery efforts after the devastating floods earlier this year, Rural Aid has welcomed Kylie Braes as a new counsellor based in Cloncurry, near our Evolution Mining Ernest Henry Operations.

With many left dealing with property damage, livestock losses, and ongoing emotional and financial pressure, Kylie will provide much-needed support to impacted farmers and families.

If you or someone you know needs support, please contact Rural Aid on 1300 327 624 or visit www.ruralaid.org.au.

Our Evolution Mining Northparkes Operations team and Traditional Owners from the Peak Hill Local Aboriginal Land Council recently came together for a very special event - the first repatriation of cultural heritage artefacts found at site.

This historical and emotional event included a smoking ceremony, cultural dancing and smoking the artefacts before they were placed in the chosen location.
