From dangerous combustible cladding to a fully compliant non-combustible facade system. 👷‍♂️🔥

This project involved the complete removal of existing combustible cladding, followed by remediation of extensive honeycombing concrete before installation of a new compliant facade system.

Works included:

Project Spotlight | Bondi

A major façade and waterproofing upgrade currently underway in Bondi, delivering long-term durability, compliance, and a refreshed external appearance for the building.

The scope of works includes:
• Combustible cladding replacement
• New compliant glazing and balustrades
• Balcony and façade waterproofing using the Ardex WPM100 system

Working within occupied residential environments requires careful staging, communication, and attention to detail — with our team coordinating each element to minimise disruption while maintaining programme and quality outcomes.

Progress update from our Kogarah site

We’re making solid headway with the installation of the Fatra rooftop waterproofing system, ensuring long-term durability and performance across the roof areas. Internally, Ardex WPM 1000 has been successfully applied to the courtyards, delivering a high-quality waterproofing solution to protect critical spaces.

This stage has been delivered in close collaboration with the superintendent, CORE Engineering, with a strong focus on quality, coordination, and detail.

Great work by the team on maintaining momentum and pushing the project forward.

Project Commencement – Gordon

We’re excited to announce the commencement of our latest remedial project in Gordon.

This comprehensive upgrade includes:

✔️ Internal waterproofing

Great progress on our Kogarah remedial project, with works currently ahead of schedule.

✔️ Site establishment complete
✔️ Demolition works completed
✔️ New screed poured with 1:100 falls established
✔️ Scaffold erected and ready for roofing works
🔧 Cavity flashings currently underway
🔜 Preparing for installation of the Fatra waterproofing system to the rooftop

Strong momentum on site and looking forward to the next stage of works.

PROJECT UPDATE | Kurraba Point

Another great result on site at our Kurraba Point project. This one involved a full balcony upgrade, including new waterproofing, fresh tiling, upgraded glazing, and installation of new code-compliant balustrades.

The finished space is clean, modern, and most importantly — built to perform. The new waterproofing system protects the structure long-term, while the updated balustrades and glazing improve both safety and usability for the residents.

A solid team effort and a great outcome all round.
