Very pleased to share that we’ve been awarded the refurbishment of the Sailors Home at 106-108 George Street, The Rocks, for our client Placemaking NSW, with Pure Projects as Client Project Managers.

The photo says it better than we can. The Sailors Home has stood on this ground since the 1860’s, housing visiting seamen when Sydney was still a working port, sitting between Cadmans Cottage, the oldest surviving residential building in the city, and the Harbour Bridge behind it.

The award of the project comes off the back of our refurbishment of The Argyle stores.

Thanks to the whole team for the opportunity, and we’re looking forward to working on this iconic Sydney building.

Looking back at FY26 — seven projects completed across multiple sectors, and one clear highlight: taking home the Master Builders Association NSW award for Childcare $5 Million & Over, for Ashfield Childcare.

None of it happens without the people on site and in the office who do the work properly, day in and day out.

We’re pleased to have completed another successful project for our client James Garner and John Fletcher Properties, delivered together with Wattle Projects as client representative.

The new early learning centre at Rooty Hill will soon open with capacity for 75 children. The scope included a complex heritage restoration, a new freestanding building, carparking, and significant services enabling works, all pulled together by a team that delivered it brilliantly.

Thanks to everyone involved, particularly the trades and consultants who turned this into a finished site. A great outcome, and a good addition to the local community.
