Oldhams "tip shop"

In an effort to reduce items going to landfill we've created a "virtual tip shop"
As we find treasures we will add them to this post so be sure to follow.

Most items will be free, some will have a small charge.
All proceeds will go into oldhams community fund which will be donated throughout the year to different community groups.

Is your organisation collecting containers for fund-raising?

We are offering wheelie bins to not for profit groups on the Tasman peninsula for storing your refundable containers FREE of charge.

All you need to do is contact us while they are still available, fill them up with your containers and head to a refund station to collect your earnings! How simple is that?!

A limited number are available so contact us quickly to secure a bin!

Today differed from our typical routine.

One of our repeat customers came to us with an issue he was encountering. He had a significant amount of sand to remove for a renovation project but no means of accessing the site with machinery.

After some thought, he decided that one of our skip bins would be the perfect solution. By utilizing a couple of shovels, they were able to excavate the ground as needed and load our skip from the ground with ease using one of GND hire's electric wheelbarrows. This proved to be a practical and efficient solution, eliminating the need for any machinery on site. Additionally, since we were able to leave the skip on site, there was no downtime related to a truck and driver.
