It all starts with the right cut. ⚙️🪚

Our workshop is equipped to handle every stage of the job — including preparing raw material accurately and efficiently before it moves on to machining or fabrication.

Our horizontal bandsaw makes light work of cutting steel bar, tube and structural sections to size, delivering clean, consistent cuts ready for the next stage of production. 🔩

It’s one of the many pieces of equipment that keeps work moving through the Denton workshop every day. 💪

The stage is set for the Denton Engineering Cup Grand Final 🏆🏉

Following a 40–20 win over the Central Newcastle Butcher Boys in the Preliminary Final, the Souths Lions have secured their place in the decider, where they’ll take on the Maitland Pickers this Sunday.

Two teams. One trophy. Everything on the line. 🔥

Congratulations to both sides on making it through, we’re looking forward to a huge day of Newcastle Rugby League and seeing who will be crowned the 2026 Denton Engineering Cup Winners!

CNC or manual machining, how do you know which one to choose? 🤔⚙️

The answer comes down to the job.

🔹 CNC machining is ideal when precision, repeatability and efficiency are key, particularly for complex components or multiple identical parts.

🔹 Manual machining offers greater hands-on flexibility, making it well suited to one-off jobs, repairs, modifications and components that need an experienced machinist’s touch.

At Denton Engineering, we don’t have to choose one over the other. Our machine shop is equipped for both CNC and manual machining, allowing our team to select the right process for each individual job. 🔧

Different methods. Same focus on quality and precision.

Precision in motion. ⚙️

This component is taking shape on the lathe, with every pass removing material and bringing it closer to its final specification. It’s a process that calls for skill, control and a sharp eye for detail.

Quality machining, tight tolerances and a finish built to perform — it’s what we do at Denton Engineering Group. 💪
