We have some exciting news…

JFJ Diesel Solutions has been taking on a diverse array of jobs. This diversity has sparked our decision to upgrade the work vehicle to a truck (fitted with a crane), which will allow me to broaden my onboard tooling and allow us to tackle more technical tasks.

Caterpillar C15 engine rebuild (NXS) ✅

This engine required rebuilding due to servere water ingress entering via the exhaust during cyclone Jasper 2023. Not only internally but visually this engine got some much needed love.

Overhaul was completed on site! Our mobile field service ute is equipped with all specilast tooling to perform this repair where ever your piece of equipment is located.

Customer nearly wore the primer pump out trying to get this D6R started once it shut down in the paddock.

With some thorough diagnostics it was determined the engine ECM had failed.

- ECM REPLACED ✅
- ECM FLASHED WITH LATEST SOFTWARE ✅
- ENGINE TIMMING CALIBRATION ✅
- TRIM FILES PROGRAMMED ✅

Travelled up the gulf to troubleshoot a 160M that would not start once at operating temperature.

Quick inspection found 4 of the 6 injector seals were damaged not allowing HEUI pump to build actuation pressure.

CAT 938H - 9000 hours

Customer requested that all major oil leaks be repaired and advice on whether to overhaul/replace powertrain,hydraulic and engine components due to hours and job severity.

Factored in maintenance history and oil analysis, componant analytics (fuel burn, load factors etc), machine’s work environment and yearly use. By testing and adjusting powertrain and hydraulic components, I was able to provide the customer with a cost efficient option, without compromising on quality.

Machine is now ready to head out west and be put to use. ✅
