Please join us in welcoming Amar Shah to Bennco Group as Chief Operating Officer.

Amar brings broad experience across project engineering, operational leadership, commercial strategy and stakeholder management. He began his career in subsea oil and gas before moving into senior roles leading projects, teams and organisations.

His collaborative approach, strong focus on safety and commitment to continuous improvement align closely with how Bennco works. In his new role, Amar will support operational excellence across the business and help strengthen safe, successful project delivery in partnership with our clients.

Tradies National Health Month is a timely reminder: looking after our people goes beyond managing risks on site.

At Bennco, our commitment to people is backed by action. We engaged Corey from Big Emotions Academy to support our team through honest conversations, practical emotional tools and a stronger focus on mental health and wellbeing.

The aim is simple. Build a workplace where people feel supported, speak up early and check in on each other.

Strong teams start with looking after the people behind the work.

A fresh new look for the wet mess at West Angelas Camp!

Bennco completed a targeted refurbishment to improve the space and create a more welcoming environment for the people using it each day.

The scope included new flooring, internal painting and decorating, updated signage and lighting, plus the installation of arcade games.

The works took place during a busy shutdown period, with the wet mess remaining open and functional throughout. Close coordination with the facilities team and on-site work area management kept each stage moving safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption.

A strong example of practical planning, clear communication and careful delivery in an active site environment.

Work is progressing at Wickham Village, where Bennco is delivering 200 metres of new footpaths as an extension of the existing network.

The project will improve pedestrian connections through the area and support safer, more practical access for residents and visitors.

Our team is continuing works on site, with each stage carefully coordinated around the surrounding village environment.

A great day for Paraburdoo Golf Club!

Bennco was proud to support the club’s reopening by sponsoring the nearest to the pin competition at the new sheltered driving range.

Congratulations to Andrew, who took out the prize. 🏆

Bennco Group’s partnership with the Polly Farmer Foundation and Follow the Dream continues to grow across the Pilbara.

Our Managing Director, Todd Bennett, recently had the honour of presenting the Kaaradjiny Bidi Award at the Follow the Dream Metro Awards Day.

The award recognises students who show strong engagement in vocational education and training, including certificate qualifications, TAFE courses and workplace learning.

The event brought together metro Follow the Dream schools and communities to recognise high-performing students across a range of categories.

Todd shared:

“Our relationship with the Polly Farmer Foundation and Follow the Dream continues to grow across the Pilbara, with the Bennco and Follow the Dream partnership embedded in schools across the inland and coastal Pilbara.

It was an absolute honour to present the Kaaradjiny Bidi Award at the Metro Awards Day.

The Follow the Dream program gives students the foundations, framework and support to build strong futures and excel throughout their careers.”

Project update from Gudai-Darri Village.

Bennco Group is proud to be constructing the Banjima Meeting Room and Cultural Hub, an important project located on native title land.

This space will support connection, culture and community within the village.

It is meaningful work for our team, and a strong reminder of the role construction plays in creating spaces with purpose.

More to come as the project progresses.

The team recently celebrated Neil’s milestone birthday on site, making sure the day was marked properly, even while working away from home.

On remote sites, your workmates become a big part of your day-to-day life.

You work together.
You look out for each other.
You share the early starts, long days and time away from family.
