The PPKME Designed NEW GEN C7 - Dual Power Mode is now approved for use.

MDR 0001019 DES.

The NEW GEN C7 incorporates a brand new, stand-alone ECM and safety shutdown system with enhanced safety, monitoring, and performance management system.

Dual-Mode Power Management
• High Power Mode: 138 kW, requiring 8.3 m3/s of clean air.
• Low Power Mode: 80 kW, requiring 4.8 m3/s of clean air.
• Provides operations with flexibility to balance performance and emissions based on site conditions.

Environmental & Compliance Benefits
•The C7 NEW GEN EXDES engine achieves ~50% lower NOx emissions than the current industry average.
•Low Power Mode offers a major advantage for operations with ventilation restrictions, reducing operator exposure to harmful gases.

We have a CT10 COALTRAM already fitted with this system and working on having a 10t JUG-A-0 retro fitted with this system , aiming to be completed in the next few weeks.

Exciting times, PPKME’s first new turbo 4 cylinder engine and transmission assembly sitting in a fresh set of Driftrunner Chassis Rails.

What makes this package even better, is that it fits to the chassis using all but 2 of the previous engine and transmission brackets, plus the transmission, drive shafts and proven suspension systems remain as is!!

We have just retro fitted a V3 10t JUG-A-0 with our Ceramic Wall Flow Filter, gas testing is booked in for later this week, then off to a property to be tested and so far the results are looking great!

Could this be the end of disposable diesel particulate filters for underground coal LHD’s.
