A kit shed shouldn’t mean being left with a pile of steel and a set of drawings.

Rural Built Co supplies engineered shed kits for working farms, acreage properties and rural businesses across Australia.

That might be an open-front shed for tractors and implements, a drive-through machinery shed, covered hay storage, a horse shelter, a workshop, or a serious shed for the caravan, float and property gear.

Every kit is designed around your site, intended use, access requirements and local engineering conditions - not pulled from a generic catalogue or out dated engineering tables. You receive Australian-made BlueScope steel, site specific certified engineering documentation, clear inclusions and practical assembly information.

More importantly, the support comes from a builder who actually erects sheds.

When you call with a question during the build, you’re speaking with someone who understands how the frame goes together, where problems normally occur and what makes sense on a real site - not a sales desk reading from a product sheet.

We built this one. You could build the same shed yourself.

24m x 42m, 6m eave — hay one end, machinery the other. We did the lot on this job: dirt, slab, build.

But we supply our sheds as kits now, and that changes things for a lot of people.

Same engineered Aussie steel. Delivered to your block. Three ways to go about it:

You build it. You’ve got the gear and a couple of mates. We supply the kit and KB’s on the phone when you hit the fiddly bit.

Your builder builds it. You’ve already got someone local you trust. They work straight off the plans.

We build it with you. Depending on where you are, worth a conversation.

Here’s the honest bit, for a lot of people who’ve rung us over the years, the shed was never the problem. The build was (and waiting sucks). The cost of it, or the wait for a crew, or just wanting to do it themselves.

Every kit is engineered for your block, your wind region, your site. That doesn’t change whether we build it or you do. And if you want KB to come out and walk the spot before you commit to anything, he will.

KB, the one who shows up day in and day out — for our business, for our family, and for everyone around him. The one who carries more than most people see, yet still manages to lead with strength, integrity, and heart.

You are not only the backbone of what we’re building, but the most incredible father to our kids — patient, present, and someone they look up to in every way. And as a husband, you are steady, supportive, and always there when it matters most.

We are so proud of you, grateful for you, and lucky to walk this life alongside you.
